IM Design Communication (IMDC)

I am 'IM' or Ileana Méndez, as my friends know me.

I’m a graphic designer. Branding is the core of my design work.
I am curious and I’ve worn many hats; as the IMDC principal: creative director, adjunct professor, artist, advocate, speaker, and businesswoman.

I studied design at American University, graphic design and branding at Yale,
and now as an everyday student of life, I study people.

I love all facets of communication: art, design, color, psychology, and philosophy.

I’m an East Coast urbanite who also spent years living in the "Land of Enchantment".

I’ve traveled to 20 foreign countries and most of the U.S. states.

I am bilingual in Spanish and can work in Spanish.

I provide versatile, imaginative and intelligent design. I will become intimately involved with your editorial message and language. I believe effective communication establishes and preserves the integrity of my clients. I’d love to listen to your story.
